Team History - Started in the East Yorkshire Junior Football League playing friendly matches in the 1996/1997 season. First competitive season saw 2 teams compete in 7-a-side football where the first team finished as champions which was repeated the following season. Both teams amalgamated in I999/2000 for first season at 11-a-side, again to finish as Champions. 1999/2000 saw Spartans enter the Hull Boys Sunday League in a succesful first season which saw the championship and promotion.Only 3 of original u10`s Championship squad still in team but all of the team have been involved with the Spartans for many years,some having played at a higher age group before returning to the current squad.
