The first 30 minutes was very even, with both sides missing a lot of chances. But Parkside
finally broke the dead lock with a goal from DANNY GORMLEY. Within a couple of minutes
Parkside went 2 up with a goal from LEON SHELDON. Just before half time another timely
header from Danny Gormley.
In the second half it was much the same with Parkside pressuring the home teams defence, ANDY HOOLE stepped up and placed the ball to make it 0-4. With only 7 minutes remaining it was time to put on our own little super sub JOHN TOMLINSON (Oli) for short John made it 0-5. Well done lads. Olly & Dot man of the match went to two of the defenders AARON PARKINSON (Captain) & ASHLEY THORPE. |
