Played at the Hall Road Rangers ground this final was a close affair although after 6 mins
with Hedon 2 up it looked anything but. Goole fought back with Moore netting after 17 and
then a rocket from 35 yards by Crisp was followed by ace marksman Barker to give Juniors
an unlikely 3-2 interval lead.
Rangers came back strongly early in the second half and duly levelled but it was Barker again who raced away on the left to finish with a superb shot into the corner. A very competitive sporting game by both sides with medals presented by Hull City's Nathan Peat. Goole scorers Barker 2 Moore and Crisp. |
