Raiders travelled to barham and soon realized they had a game on their hands,when barham
took a 1-0 lead. This seemed to wake raiders up who started to play the flowing football
their capable of and soon equalised through thomas hoole,hoole then grabbed his second .
Nicky heywood then scored,making it 1-3 ,barham hit back to make it 2-3.John turner made
a superb run from the back and finished it off with a cracking strike, 2-4 and just before
half time hoole grabbed his hat-trick making it 2-5 at the interval.
The second half saw a couple of sub`s on for the raiders,who soon were involved and after some neat work the ball was squared for matthew dodson to slot the ball in.Raiders with some tremendous defending kept barham at bay,and were creating chances, it was`nt long before hoole got his fourth.The final goal was one to admire,the ball was fizzed around from player to player then neatly pulled back for Scott kay to rifle it into the top corner. Making the final score 2-8 to the raiders. lunch box man of the match was John Turner. |
