11/11/01 Beverley Tigers FC 7 Leconfield Swinemoor 4
Leconfield needed to get back to winning ways in the league this week but started off badly letting 2 goals in to Tigers early on. They started getting on top however just before half time with a goal from Richard Oliver to leave the scores at 2-1 to Tigers.

Leconfield needed a good start after half time but again the failed to do so letting in another 2 early goals. Just when it looked as if Leconfield were in big trouble they scored a much needed goal. It came from a corner where Jack Abo got in a great header which came off the bar. From the rebound a Leconfield player had a shot which was handled in the area by a Tigers player. Shaun Gibson stepped up to tuck away an excellent penalty in the bottom left hand corner. Tigers responded to this by scoring another goal to leave Leconfield with a 3 goal gap to claw back at 5-2 to Tigers. Leconfield started there task with a goal from Jonathon Riley. Jonathon Freeman finshed a run down the right wing with a shot that the Tigers keeper could only parry, Jonathon Riley was on hand to bang the ball into the back of the net. Leconfield however let slip of this comeback by letting in another pair of goals to Tigers. It was Leconfield however who scored the last goal through Jonathon Freeman. This left the score at the end of an exciting match at 7-4 to Beverley Tigers.
