A well taken goal 5mins from time settled this close and entertaining
under 11 Myton league game.Sporting,unbeaten this season found a
hardworking Fairbank side difficult to break down.Hessle took the lead after
15mins. when a cross from the right was deflected into his own goal by a
Fairbank defender.Sporting doubled their lead 5mins from half-time.A
long ball out of defence found M.Marsh racing through and finish in
style.
The second half saw a spirited fightback from Fairbank.Some hesitant defending by Sporting allowed Fairbank back into the game with two quick goals.It looked as though Fairbank had sealed a draw until R.Start hit the winning goal. |
