This was a very close game with Leconfield and West Hull both having a
lot of chances to steal the match. It was Leconfield who took the lead
first with a free kick on the edge of the area. This chance came after the
West Hull keeper strayed out of his area with the ball in his hands whilst
taking a drop kick. Ben Cowlam took a magnifencent free kick which curled into
the top right corner of the net. It continued as a very close game until
West Hull equilised with about 10 mins left to go. It came from a high
swirling corner which was headed powerfully into the net. The game then became
end to end stuff with both teams coming close to snatching a winner but it was
not to be and it ended Leconfield 1 West Hull 1.
