Raiders first league fixture was away and from kick off they were intotal control,
pressuring the Hessle goal and defending solid, the first goal came after five minutes
when the versatile player James Hailstone slotted the ball away, and within 12 minutes
Raiders were two up when Hailstone scored again this was the halft time score.
In the second half Raiders were creating and squandering chances but eventually after a abrave challenge Thomas Hoole netted the third goal with a brave header, Hessle pressed and after the ball ping-ponged in the area it was lifted over the keepers head this proved to be the last kick of the game. Lunch Box man of the match was James Hailstone. |
