Leconfield were hoping to get back to winning ways in the leauge after
defeat in the cup last week. Leconfield started well by scoring first
with
an excellent chip over the keeper after 5 mins by Richard Farrow. St
Andrews
then responded with 2 goals before half time to leave the score 2-1 to
St
Andrews at half time.
St Andrews the added to that lead straight after half time to leave Leconfield a 2 goal gap to try and claw back. Leconfield duly did with 2 goals, first from Ben Cowlam and then from Christy Hall to leave the scores level. Unfortunaly, from a Leconfield point of view, St Andrews responded with 2 quick goals 5 minutes from the end, to end the match 5-3 to St Andrews.
