A good start to the league for st andrews after an impressive 6-0 win
over nafferton. st andrews took only around 10 minutes to score there first of the
season with an easy goal for Musgrave. st andrews had most of the possession
with sayers having not much to do in goal. 10 minutes before the end of
the first half st andrews grabbed their second of the match with a nice
header from lunny.
In the second half st andrews came straight at nafferton with a powerfull shot from morphitt wich the keeper couldnt keep out. st andrews then got another goal from substitute taylor. 20 minutes in to the second half musgrave got his second of the game. 5-0 to st andrews and it definatley looked like they were on the way to there first win of the season but st andrews hadnt finished yet with the last goal of the game going to taylor. final score st andrews 6, nafferton 0. scorers: musgrave 2, taylor 2, morphitt 1, lunn 1 man of the match: morphitt. |
