From the beginning Carbide displayed a confident and impressive standard of football,
having the lions share of possesion and putting together a lot of fine moves,even after
going down to an early Springhead goal ,they battled straight back with a Daniel
Fitzgerald equaliser by half time.
The second half was a pleasure to watch as Carbide showed a lot of determination paying off with sub Adam Whiteley forcing a goal to go 2-1 up, counter-acting Springheads breaks with some hard tackling and skillful possesion both players went on to score another one each.Springhead where kept out on many occasions by man-of-the-match keeper Joe Lewis.
