We were a bit worried at the begining of the match because they won the Myton league
last season but when the match started and we realised we were just as good as them.
They went in at half time 1-0 up but we realised that we could still win the game, we
made 3 subs Jason Paddison off for Ricky Giblin, Liam Williams on for Danny Fitzgerald
and David Sansam on for Matty Ellerington and Liam Savage on for Paul Williams They
scored another two goals to make it 3-0 but then there manager took there best two
players off which gave us chance to get back into the game we scored a nice goal by
Darren Powdrell but they then put another past us to make it 4-1 they was 15mins remaning
and we had to score 3 goals. Liam Savage scored to make it 4-2 went we started to belive
that we could win this game Glen Brigham scored to make it 4-3 and then with about 3mins
to go Liam Savage scored and we forced them into extra time then Lee Mcfarlane scored a
goal from in his own half by lobbing the keeper and then Glen Brigham scored again to make
it 6-4 then St. Andrews scored right at the end but it was not good enough for them to
stay in the cup now Carbide are in the last 8 of the competion.
