In the first half it was end to end football, with the Tigers taking the lead from a
through ball coolly slotted home by their number 11. Raiders soon equalised from a cross
ball which Thomas Hoole placed pass the keeper.
The second half was dominated by the Raiders who quickly raised their game to punish the Tigers by netting a further five goals. Scorers were T. Hoole 1, Heywood 2 and Dodson 2. This was an outstanding team performance to take the Raiders into the 3rd round. Lunch Box Men of the Match were J Stannard,G Chappell and N Heywood. |
